However for me it’s just another pencil, not a bad one, just nothing special. It has apparently a higher percentage of carbon so that it can deliver a deep rich black and the lead is also super-bonded to make it more break-resistant. Staedler Mars Lumograph Black 100B 2B: This pencil comes already sharpened. The price I found online is 3,03€ for 5M and 2,74€ for 3M, so 14,57€ in total for all markers in this box.įaber Castell Ecco Pigment Liner 0.6: This is a fineliner with a 0.6mm tip. I’ve seen these markers for about 3-4 € each in the local art supply shop. They use water-based pigments, so you can delute them with water or even mix them when they are still wet, but I did not try this for my first drawing with it.
They also dry quite fast and have a matt finish when completely dried. Apparently you can use them not only on paper but also on all sorts of surfaces (wood, glass, plastic etc. I personally find them very easy to use, the colours are very opaque and can easily be layered. POSCA markers are, I believe, quite well known in the art community and there are many, many reviews, if you are interested for more details. Uni POSCA Pens 3M and 5M: There were 2x3M (Black and White) with a bullet shaped nip (0.9-1.3mm) and 3x5M (Aqua Green, Lavender and Coral Pink) also with bullet nips (1.8-2.5mm) in the box. In September however there was a delay and the shipping time of 5-7 days to Germany was also exceeded so that when it arrived at my door it was already October. They try to ship the boxes around the 17th each month.
SCRAWL BOX PLUS
It’s more on the affordable side with only 15£ per month plus a 5£ shipping fee for me (from UK to Germany). The Scrawlrbox is quite well-known in the art community. And again this is rather a sub box for art supplies instead of stationery but I’m having so much fun creating little drawings here and there and I love testing out new art supplies as much as I love collecting stationery. Chinese knockoffs, but there was some logistic problem, so none of the knockoff arrived…. I planned a review on some Japanese stationery vs. I have been quite busy with Inktober and also no box to review lately.
